The Project is aimed at archiving philosophical texts by several modern authors, in various languages, for the purpose of delving into philosophical themes, methodological issues and terminological problems related to the debate on the passions between the 16th and 18th centuries. The research involves digital transcribing, annotating, and contextualizing texts on the topic of passions, in order to build an open access database of sources. The database will provide search functions for terms, families of terms, definitions and meanings, and tools for the automatic production of terminological constellations and semantic networks, as well as a multilingual dictionary, allowing researchers to move between historically established definitions, shifts in meaning and calques.
